About the role

  • Understand global business direction, working closely with relevant Functions regionally and globally to ensure all projects are aligned and delivered in line with this direction
  • Collaborate with relevant global and regional Functions to: - Identify key stakeholders and understand business requirements - Evaluate initial and additional project requirements - Determine project objectives, benefits, priorities, deliverables, implementation time lines and resource requirements - Align necessary resources regionally and globally; identifying resource gaps and working with management to fill these gaps
  • Mitigate against risks/issues which may impact project time-lines taking action as necessary to avoid delays
  • Monitor, track and communicate project progress in a structured and timely manner to business owners and key stakeholders
  • Work with local Cook Inc. teams on the implementation of projects
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (regionally and globally) such as, IT, CSD Regional Support Center, Quality Assurance, Finance and the Divisions when setting up or initiating an improvement project
  • Manage relevant outside vendors, as required
  • Ensure compliance to the Quality Management System and Business Processes
  • Ensure that Cook’s Code of Conduct is considered in all business matters carried out on Cook’s behalf

Requirements

  • A formal business / project management qualification and / or a proven track record in complex operational business / project management preferably in the Supply Chain arena and spanning multiple functions globally
  • Experience with managing and directing project team members towards a defined objective
  • Proven written and verbal skills with ability to synthesize information into well organized plans, proposals and presentations
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven understanding and experience of systems
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management System (QMS) principles (preferably ISO13485)
  • Ability to prioritize workloads meet deadlines and follow up on issues
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.
