About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate legal review of contracts
- Job set-up in Spectrum
- Project cost review and control
- Assist with monthly financial forecast
- Progress billing preparation
- Work closely with stakeholders to identify project concerns
- Monitor and manage financial performance against monthly forecast and profit plan
- Participate in a dynamic team environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
- 3 years bookkeeping or an accounting environment (preferred)
- 3 years project cost accounting (preferred)
- 2 years in a construction environment (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communications skills
- Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word skills
- Solid financial analytical skills including cost control
- Solid accounts receivable knowledge
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and results focused
- Solid team orientation
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Strong organizational/time management skills
- Strong proficiency in financial software
