💰 $78,383 - $121,540 per year

About the role

  • Manages all aspects of assigned projects (typically valued up to $1M) from award through completion
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborates with local Convergint Project Managers, Customers, and Program Managers to align on project goals and support execution
  • Develops and manages project installation plans in coordination with local teams
  • Maintains accurate records of job status, material flow, change orders, and other documentation
  • Identifies project risks and implements strategies to mitigate them
  • Partners with technical subject matter experts to create necessary project documentation
  • Oversees project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Regularly communicates project progress, schedules, and changes to stakeholders
  • Ensures compliance with scope of work, delivery standards, quality control, and customer-specific requirements
  • Acts as “our customer’s best service provider” at all times

Requirements

  • Project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, electronic security systems and AV systems)
  • Coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation
  • Team leadership, team building and facilitation skills
  • Shows initiative – engages in proactive behavior and looks for opportunities
  • Adaptable – responds effectively to changes in situation or information
  • Strong analytical skills necessary to resolve problems and look for solutions
  • Financial analytical skills including cost control
  • Basic ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principles
