About the role

  • Responsible for the design, governance, administration, and optimization of sales incentive programs
  • Partner closely with Sales, Finance, HR, and Executive Leadership to create scalable, data-driven incentive plans
  • Lead the development and ongoing refinement of sales incentive and compensation programs
  • Own the governance framework for sales incentive plans including documentation, approvals, controls, and change management
  • Design and maintain tracking, reporting, and analytics for sales incentive data capture, payout accuracy, and ROI
  • Act as a strategic advisor to Sales/Finance leadership on incentive plan effectiveness
  • Benchmark incentive programs against industry best practices and market trends
  • Identify opportunities to simplify plans, improve clarity, and enhance colleague understanding and engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Economics, or a related field
  • 8–12+ years of experience in sales compensation, incentive design, total rewards, or related roles
  • Proven experience designing and managing complex sales incentive programs in a growth-oriented organization
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leaders and influence across functions
  • Experience working with HRIS, sales compensation, or incentive management systems (Workday, Xactly)
  • Strong communications skills to bring sales teams up to speed on changes in incentive plans and their impact
  • Background in finance, analytics, or consulting related to sales performance or rewards.
