About the role
- Actively manage and supervise a portfolio of predominantly primary first party and third-party cyber claims
- Analyze insurance coverage issues and draft coverage letters and other correspondence
- Confidently navigate in both primary and excess insurance claim environments
- Collaborate with customers and brokers to achieve the most advantageous claim resolution
- Work quickly with external counsel and specialized vendors to assist customers in responding to cyber incidents
- Provide high level analysis of claims portfolio results to the business and identify and analyze claim trends
- Liaise with Actuarial, Finance and Risk Management colleagues to share information in the management of claims, clients and risks
- Represent and promote Converge at industry conferences, client events and professional society functions
Requirements
- 3+ years Cyber and Tech E&O experience
- University degree or equivalent, J.D. not required but highly desirable
- A legal or technical background would be ideal
- Demonstrate working knowledge of Cyber insurance markets
- Strong analytical, negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Energized by working in a highly collaborative environment
- May include up to 10% travel
