About the role
- Lead QA strategy across microservices, APIs, and user workflows — from coverage rating to claims analytics
- Build and mentor a high-performing QA team focused on automation, reliability, and scalability
- Design robust test frameworks for CI/CD pipelines
- Oversee functional, regression, performance, and data integrity testing — including complex partner integrations
- Champion quality in every release: manage defect triage, release validation, and post-release reviews
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and DevOps to embed QA throughout the build process.
Requirements
- 7+ years of QA experience, including 3+ in a lead or manager role
- Strong track record with SaaS, cloud-native, or fintech/insurtech platforms
- Deep understanding of automated testing for APIs, data pipelines, and front-end applications
- Solid SQL/GraphQL skills and hands-on experience with test automation tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Postman
- Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar QA management systems
- Curious mindset and passion for improving processes through data and automation.
