About the role

  • Delivering a greenfield role, establishing the regional Demand Generation Team within Spain.
  • Generate appointments for sales targets.
  • Work closely with Business Development Managers (BDMs & Sr. BDMs) to contact new prospects.
  • Lead Generation & Prospecting.
  • Develop understanding of Convera’s value proposition.
  • Achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as revenue and appointment setting targets.
  • Create appointments with new & existing prospects.
  • Make outbound calls to identify and qualify new business opportunities.
  • Use sales tools such as Salesforce.com, ZoomInfo, and Highspot to generate prospects.
  • Manage the sales lead allocation pipeline daily.

Requirements

  • Sales industry experience, ideally used to making outbound calls to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Strong organizational and effective time management skills.
  • Active listening, strong written and verbal communication skills, such as a professional telephone manner.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to attain [Level 3 CISI Certificate (i.e., Introduction to securities and investments)] within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be fluent to a native level in Spanish - Catalan is a plus.
  • Must be fluent in English (oral and written), as all internal communication is in English.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Experience within Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce and Highspot would be advantageous.
