About the role

  • Lead/Manage a team of 5 Business Development Managers
  • Personal revenue targets that make up the majority of the variable pay element for this role
  • Initial prospecting activities within the SME and Corporate sector
  • Maintain and develop knowledge across specific industries or regions
  • Work across internal teams to provide tailored solutions for clients
  • Maintain understanding of the FX market, compliance, and legislative requirements
  • Utilize internal relationship teams to close sales opportunities
  • Identify and develop key referral partnerships and relationships
  • Account Management and managing new customers through to transition stage

Requirements

  • Prior exposure to the Foreign Exchange (FX) or payments industry is crucial
  • Strong sales background and looking for first managerial position acceptable
  • Understanding of consultative sales principles and adept at executive corporate level negotiations
  • Independent self-starter with a tenacious approach to new business acquisition
  • Ability to work autonomously while liaising with internal account managers
  • Established networks in regional markets and industry verticals
  • Highly self-motivated and confident with integrity to outperform competition
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and embrace diversity
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication/presentation skills
