About the role
- Lead/Manage a team of 5 Business Development Managers
- Personal revenue targets that make up the majority of the variable pay element for this role
- Initial prospecting activities within the SME and Corporate sector
- Maintain and develop knowledge across specific industries or regions
- Work across internal teams to provide tailored solutions for clients
- Maintain understanding of the FX market, compliance, and legislative requirements
- Utilize internal relationship teams to close sales opportunities
- Identify and develop key referral partnerships and relationships
- Account Management and managing new customers through to transition stage
Requirements
- Prior exposure to the Foreign Exchange (FX) or payments industry is crucial
- Strong sales background and looking for first managerial position acceptable
- Understanding of consultative sales principles and adept at executive corporate level negotiations
- Independent self-starter with a tenacious approach to new business acquisition
- Ability to work autonomously while liaising with internal account managers
- Established networks in regional markets and industry verticals
- Highly self-motivated and confident with integrity to outperform competition
- Contribute to a positive team environment and embrace diversity
- Fluent in English with excellent communication/presentation skills
