About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve sales and margin targets for defined customers in the retail/trade and homecare sectors
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with specialist retailers, homecare companies and other professional wound care providers
  • Business development – acquire new customers, expand new sales channels, especially online retail, and explore strategic partnerships
  • Negotiate framework agreements, listings and terms in collaboration with management and purchasing teams of retail partners
  • Create customer development plans and ensure achievement of targets
  • Conduct strategic annual discussions with managing directors in the retail sector
  • Deliver presentations to customers and at internal meetings
  • Perform market and competitor analyses and derive actions to increase market penetration
  • Further develop strategies and activities in the retail/trade area
  • Collaborate with marketing, e.g., designing customer activities, product launches, and portfolio optimization
  • Collaborate with Market Access and reimbursement management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Several years of proven success in Key Account Management, ideally in medical device retail
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strategic thinker with strong conceptual skills
  • Extensive negotiation experience and well-established contacts with managing directors
  • Solid knowledge of the German healthcare system (e.g., reimbursement)
  • Excellent understanding of business and financial interrelations
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent German and English, spoken and written
  • High willingness to travel and stay overnight is required
