About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the ControlUp for VDI roadmap end to end, including discovery, definition, delivery, and adoption, as part of the ControlUp ONE platform
  • Conduct customer and community discovery with VDI and EUC administrators
  • Join escalations and translate operational pain into prioritized product decisions
  • Define AI capabilities for VDI in partnership with the Pulse AI team
  • Bring anomaly detection, root-cause analysis, and automated remediation to virtual desktop workloads
  • Track platform and API changes across Citrix, Omnissa, Microsoft AVD, Parallels, and hypervisor layers
  • Lead competitive and market analysis in DEX, VDI monitoring, and endpoint management
  • Write clear, testable requirements and detailed specifications
  • Collaborate with Development and QA throughout the product cycle
  • Own product quality and reliability, including upgrade experience, backward compatibility, and customer-reported defects
  • Drive go-to-market activities with Marketing, Sales, Sales Engineering, and Support, including enablement, positioning, launches, and adoption tracking
  • Use telemetry, usage data, and customer feedback to test hypotheses and iterate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven product management experience at a product company in IT infrastructure, IT operations, or endpoint management
  • Hands-on familiarity with VDI/DaaS and EUC, including Citrix, Omnissa Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, or equivalent
  • Understanding of IT teams' day-to-day work
  • Strong technical background and ability to discuss APIs, agents, telemetry, and system architecture with engineers
  • Track record of developing and executing go-to-market strategy
  • Ability to partner effectively with Dev, QA, Sales, and Sales Engineering
  • Confident decision-making and ability to influence stakeholders without authority
  • Strong data literacy and data-driven decision-making
  • Passion for product design and user experience
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed team
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Nice to have: experience with DEX, observability, or monitoring products
  • Nice to have: familiarity with AI/ML-driven product capabilities, agentic workflows, or automation platforms
  • Nice to have: background as an IT/EUC practitioner or consultant
  • Nice to have: experience with an active technical community or open script/automation ecosystem
