About the role
- Support the delivery of our analysis of political, security, operational, integrity and social risks in the United States and Canada
- Conduct research on competitors and market strategy to inform our business positioning and operations
- Contribute to business strategy development through operational research and analysis, supporting both our commercial operations and strategic planning initiatives
- Research and writing of updates for our online services
- Contribute to bespoke consulting reports that guide our business operations and client engagement strategies
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited degree program and majoring/concentrating in: Political Science, International Relations, Economics, Organized Crime/Public Security/Terrorism, or other relevant degrees
- Excellent writing skills and an ability to meet tight deadlines
- Solid understanding of the political, security and social risk landscape in the US as it pertains to companies as well as of US political dynamics
- Proven track record in using quantitative (i.e. statistical) information to substantiate qualitative analysis
- Business fluency in English language (both written and spoken)
- Thrives in a dynamic, multicultural work environment
- Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail
- Creative problem-solver who brings innovative approaches to challenges
- Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to learning
