About the role

  • Provide community engagement regional support to a network of local teams
  • Support local and regional teams across the operational lifecycle (from M&A through construction, into operations, closure, and divestment)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities, indigenous groups, public institutions, and other regional stakeholders
  • Stakeholder mapping, field diagnostics, and regular community perception assessments
  • Development and implementation of risk management processes, including risk registers to track and assess risks and controls
  • Monitor the ever-changing regulatory climate in the countries which CG operates
  • Develop training materials to raise community management awareness and sustainability practices
  • Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations for both internal and external audiences

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, Social Performance Management, Community Relations, or a related discipline
  • A professional designation such as Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP™), Certified Community Manager (CCM), or in a related field is preferred
  • 5-8 years of recent and related experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or social performance roles in an industrial sector
  • Strong presentation preparation and computer skills, such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, Power BI
  • Experience with community engagement tracking platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively, cross-functionally, and under pressure
  • Appreciation and respect for different cultures and perspectives
