About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive training programs supporting the CGS mission
Develop and update course curricula, lesson plans, instructional materials, and training resources
Continuously evaluate and revise training content to meet contractual requirements, operational needs, and industry best practices
Deliver engaging instructor-led training in both virtual and in-person environments
Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with company and contractual requirements
Prepare for and support internal and external audits of training records and program compliance
Serve as a subject matter expert and provide training guidance to leadership and operational staff
Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on operational feedback and performance metrics
Travel, including occasional short-notice travel, may be required to deliver or support training
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in training management, instructional design, adult learning, workforce development, program management, law enforcement, investigations, case management, or related disciplines
Experience developing and delivering specialized technical or operational training programs
Professional training certifications or instructional design certifications are preferred
Demonstrated experience developing curricula, lesson plans, facilitator guides, and training materials
Experience delivering instructor-led training both virtually and in person
Experience teaching communication, interviewing, situational awareness, or interpersonal skills to diverse audiences
Experience working with programs serving foreign-born populations
Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills
Experience working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with changing priorities
Ability to adapt quickly and respond to operational needs with professionalism and sound judgment
Experience leading or mentoring teams and supporting employee development
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, when mission requirements dictate
Foreign language proficiency is a plus
