About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards.
  • Notify appropriate personnel of scrap tires that repeat.
  • Perform various audits, including, but not limited to dirty mold audit, serial audit.
  • Will be cross-trained to perform all QA technician inspection jobs.
  • Must be able to lift tires for the duration of the shift and place them on the appropriate pallets and conveyors.
  • Follow all plant rules, departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures.
  • Perform all work necessary to obtain quality production.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the QA Supervisor, Chief Inspector or QA Manager.
  • Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
  • Previous manufacturing experience
  • Previous manufacturing Quality experience
  • Associates degree preferred
