About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Able to classify and inspect tires according to QMD standards.
- Notify appropriate personnel of scrap tires that repeat.
- Perform various audits, including, but not limited to dirty mold audit, serial audit.
- Will be cross-trained to perform all QA technician inspection jobs.
- Must be able to lift tires for the duration of the shift and place them on the appropriate pallets and conveyors.
- Follow all plant rules, departmental safety policies, environmental policies, and chemical handling procedures.
- Perform all work necessary to obtain quality production.
- Perform other duties as directed by the QA Supervisor, Chief Inspector or QA Manager.
- Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Previous manufacturing Quality experience
- Associates degree preferred
