About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for Application Engineering activities for Conveyor Products.
Implementing the segment's strategy while maintaining balance between strategic initiatives and operational tasks.
Providing on-site support and troubleshooting applications for our main customer in Arizona.
Initiate and supervise implementation of related Application Engineering activities (Customer projects, technical changes, quality improvements).
Conduct field inspections, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting for Conveyor Products.
Safeguarding committed standards of quality guidelines (internal and external).
Segment strategy development and execution with their area of responsibility including deployment to and through their teams.
Analyze the market and technology and provide input to business strategies.
Attend strategic meetings with customers, conferences etc. to provide technical input or present the best engineered solution as possible.
Select and suggest best suited product specification for the application.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering(preferred) or related technical degree.
2+ years of experience in application engineering or a comparable function in the mining industry
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong MS Office suite experience (Excel and PPT)
Strong problem-solving skills
Up to 50% travel to customer sites for application support, project execution, and field troubleshooting
5+ years of Mining Industry experience (additional)
Experience with industrial conveyor systems (additional)
Experience in direct customer facing roles (additional)
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
