About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with the installation, configuration, and support of customer-site infrastructure, including networks, POS hardware, and related systems.
- Support monitoring of system availability, performance, and connectivity at café, events, and micro market locations.
- Respond to escalated issues from the IT Support team and follow documented troubleshooting procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and equipment replacements under supervision.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting involving LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and connectivity issues.
- Support inventory tracking, asset updates, and documentation for customer-site technology.
- Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures as directed.
- Work closely with Infrastructure Administrators and the IT Infrastructure Manager to learn best practices and standards.
- Participate in customer-site deployments, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.
- Follow security standards and operational procedures when working with infrastructure and customer environments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and support efficiency.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Foundational skills understanding required.
- Foundational understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with Windows/Linux operating systems and basic server or endpoint administration concepts.
- Ability to follow troubleshooting processes and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical users.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a service-driven environment.
- Interest in growing into infrastructure, cloud, or network administration roles.
