About the role
- Manage the company’s global insurance portfolio, including Property, Liability, Transport, Cyber, and other specialty insurance lines
- Act as the central contact and strategic interface for external insurers, brokers, and relevant partners
- Develop, optimize, and drive global insurance programs in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Analyze and assess corporate risks and define appropriate risk-transfer strategies
- Lead international tender processes and negotiate with insurers and brokers to secure optimal coverage and cost efficiency
- Coordinate and support claims handling in collaboration with internal departments and external service providers
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements across international markets
- Prepare analyses, reports, and decision proposals for senior management
Requirements
- Degree in economics, law, insurance management, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in insurance management, ideally within an international industrial company, with an insurance broker, or an insurance provider
- Strong expertise in structuring and managing international insurance programs
- Experience working with global insurers and brokers
- Strong analytical skills and proven negotiation abilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholders in an international environment
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style
