About the role
- Take independent responsibility for advising and supporting Continental AG group locations at home and abroad on fire protection and natural hazards
- Further develop and implement loss prevention standards
- Continuously improve the risk quality of our global locations
- Advise on the implementation of corporate standards for fire protection and loss prevention
- Support new-build, expansion and refurbishment projects on related technical issues
- Develop solution approaches and protection concepts for current loss prevention topics
- Act as an interface between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the exchange of information
- Optimize internal risk management and digitization processes
- Create and implement concepts to raise risk awareness and increase transparency
Requirements
- Degree in civil/structural engineering, safety, fire protection, emergency management or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in risk engineering at an industrial company or in the insurance sector
- Confident use of MS Office applications, including Power BI, and experience in data analysis and evaluation
- High reliability, strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Motivation, willingness to learn, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
- International experience and intercultural competence desirable
- Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
- High willingness to travel (national and international)
