About the role

  • Take independent responsibility for advising and supporting Continental AG group locations at home and abroad on fire protection and natural hazards
  • Further develop and implement loss prevention standards
  • Continuously improve the risk quality of our global locations
  • Advise on the implementation of corporate standards for fire protection and loss prevention
  • Support new-build, expansion and refurbishment projects on related technical issues
  • Develop solution approaches and protection concepts for current loss prevention topics
  • Act as an interface between internal and external stakeholders to ensure the exchange of information
  • Optimize internal risk management and digitization processes
  • Create and implement concepts to raise risk awareness and increase transparency

Requirements

  • Degree in civil/structural engineering, safety, fire protection, emergency management or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in risk engineering at an industrial company or in the insurance sector
  • Confident use of MS Office applications, including Power BI, and experience in data analysis and evaluation
  • High reliability, strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
  • Motivation, willingness to learn, sense of responsibility and assertiveness
  • International experience and intercultural competence desirable
  • Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
  • High willingness to travel (national and international)
