About the role

  • Continuous acquisition and management of major customers across the sales territory, including end users, branch operations, corporate headquarters and subsidiaries
  • Building long-term customer relationships with a focus on marketing the group's products
  • Conducting and evaluating fleet checks and providing technical support for customer fleets in close coordination with Continental
  • Monitoring planning figures, contribution margins and sales developments to ensure target achievement
  • Responsibility for compliance with credit limits and receivables management in the assigned customer area
  • Ensuring cooperation with specialist departments, regional teams and central units through continuous information exchange

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or technical training, preferably in the tire trade or a comparable qualification
  • Field sales (external sales) experience
  • Solid knowledge of vehicle technology and tire products
  • Detailed industry knowledge desirable
  • Customer- and service-oriented approach
  • Negotiation skills and confident manner when dealing with customers
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, assertiveness and strong communication skills
  • Structured organizational abilities and pronounced team spirit
  • Basic IT skills and an affinity for various IT applications
  • Class B driver's license
