About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support due diligence efforts by coordinating consultant reports, including survey, Phase I, wetlands, and traffic reports
  • Review due diligence findings and monitor project budgets and invoices
  • Assist in preparing entitlement submittals and presentations, including project narratives, PowerPoints, code research, and consultant and municipality coordination
  • Coordinate neighborhood meetings
  • Support permit review and approval submittals
  • Manage review comments and required applications
  • Prepare and maintain project schedules, meeting agendas and minutes, and project documentation
  • Support post-closing and closeout activities
  • Gather diligence materials, approvals, and permits
  • Coordinate as-built surveys and FEMA follow-up

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate, Landscape Architecture, or Urban Planning required
  • 0–1 year of experience
  • Foundational understanding of, or eagerness to learn, the entitlement and due diligence process
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and responsiveness to support multiple projects and teams across various markets
  • Eagerness to learn and grow technical real estate development and project management skills under the mentorship of a Development Director
  • Must pass a post-offer criminal background check
