About the role

  • Design, code, test, debug, and support Web and Winform applications using a variety of Microsoft technologies, including .Net, C# and SQL Server as well as front-end frameworks such as React.js
  • Perform systems analysis to understand business processes and needs, and design product solutions to satisfy business requirements
  • Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards
  • Develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications
  • Analyze and resolve technical and application problems
  • Support and maintain applications and systems currently in production
  • Learn new technologies and keep abreast of existing technologies and apply these to a variety of projects as applicable
  • Research and evaluate a variety of software products to support business needs & initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering from an accredited college or university; or equivalent education/experience in the computer science field or other related field of study
  • Experience in the financial services industry, especially retail installment lending
  • Knowledge of C# programming language and/or other .NET languages
  • Knowledge of front-end development frameworks such as React.JS
  • Knowledge of web service concepts (REST, JSON, XML)
  • Ability to utilize serverless technologies in AWS a plus
  • Knowledge of SQL Server technologies and experience developing database applications using SQL server
  • Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment
  • Ability to analyze and resolve technical issues.
