About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

The DevOps CI/CD Release Manager will be responsible for the development and support of the CI/CD pipelines for the Health Information Exchange (HIE).
Overseeing the release process for software and application deployments for internally developed solutions, as well as for certain key 3rd party vendor solutions.
Manage internal software releases using solutions and technology such as Git, GitHub, Jira, C#, SQL, MongoDB, and APIs.
Support the development of new and existing solutions through all phases of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
After hours may be necessary to support deployments, changes, or major incident response.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 3 years of DevOps, CI/CD, or Release Management experience.
Minimum 1 year of object-oriented Software Development using languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
Experience in Git Version Control and GitHub, including GitHub actions.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in Agile development.
Experience using and configuring Jira.
Some experience developing APIs and Web Services.
Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field required; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
