About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The DevOps CI/CD Release Manager will be responsible for the development and support of the CI/CD pipelines for the Health Information Exchange (HIE).
  • Overseeing the release process for software and application deployments for internally developed solutions, as well as for certain key 3rd party vendor solutions.
  • Manage internal software releases using solutions and technology such as Git, GitHub, Jira, C#, SQL, MongoDB, and APIs.
  • Support the development of new and existing solutions through all phases of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
  • After hours may be necessary to support deployments, changes, or major incident response.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 3 years of DevOps, CI/CD, or Release Management experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of object-oriented Software Development using languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience in Git Version Control and GitHub, including GitHub actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to clearly communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in Agile development.
  • Experience using and configuring Jira.
  • Some experience developing APIs and Web Services.
  • Experience in Windows and Linux environments.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or another related field required; equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
