About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- The Manager, Data Engineering is responsible for Contexture data engineering, development, implementation and maintenance for related activities of the organization.
- Provides daily supervision and management of assigned staff, maintain allocated staffing levels including leading recruitment efforts and creating on-boarding plans for new or transferred employees.
- Provides mentoring, coaching, and educational activities to support employee development that aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure high level of data availability implementing and improving processes that ensure the stability and performance of our data products.
- Create solutions that adhere to privacy, governance, legal, compliance and other standards.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the development, maintenance, and support of data related positions
- Experience in leading and managing cross functional technical and user-based teams, preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree, or commensurate directly related work experience, is required with a concentration in a data-related field such as Computer Science, Informatics, Mathematics, Engineering, etc.
- Master's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum 2+ years prior management experience required.
