About the role
- Organization and participation in audits and verifications on state portals and related systems, including verification of general information;
- Filing of ancillary tax obligations (DeSTda, Sintegra, SPED Fiscal, and related filings);
- Company registration and maintenance within workflows;
- Client communications;
- Responding to inquiries in question groups;
- Resolving state-level tax issues;
- Preparing studies and delivering training on topics related to state taxation when required;
- Organizing the team to ensure compliance with state routines;
- Monitoring changes in state legislation and other legal changes that impact routines;
- Seeking new technologies and implementing automation in the department's routines;
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of tax legislation;
- Advanced knowledge of specific taxation matters;
- Advanced knowledge of tax routines and processes;
- Ability to lead and participate in client meetings on specific fiscal and tax issues;
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, with emphasis on formulas;
- Advanced knowledge in calculations of ICMS differential rate (DIFAL), anticipation and ICMS Tax Substitution (Substituição Tributária);
- Advanced knowledge of the monophase regime for PIS and COFINS collection;
- Advanced skills in tax analysis and tax assessment;
- Advanced experience using government portals and resolving outstanding issues;
- Advanced knowledge of Cost and Management Accounting;
- Skills in Tax Planning;
- Proficiency in issuing tax invoices for merchandise movement;
- Advanced knowledge of Simples Nacional and Presumed Profit (Lucro Presumido) regimes;
- Advanced knowledge of ICMS legislation and state agreements;
- Advanced knowledge of accounting entries and bookkeeping;
- Advanced knowledge of ancillary obligations at the state and federal levels and SPED Fiscal;
- Advanced knowledge of procedures for incoming and outgoing tax invoices;
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Ciências Contábeis);
