About the role
- Support investment cases
- Enable commercial decisions
- Ensure financial integrity
- Report to the Head of Risk & Assurance
- Work closely with Leads and cross-functional teams
- Maintain Financial Accounting Framework
- Prepare reconciliations and financial statements
- Advise on contractual implications
- Support people development within the team
Requirements
- At least five years’ post-qualification experience in financial accounting
- Experience ideally within the for-profit sector
- Technical expertise matched by commercial acumen
- Ability to link delivery to strategic outcomes
- Comfortable leading yourself and others
- Experience in matrixed environments is a plus
- Commitment to continuous improvement and inclusion
- Financial accounting discipline and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with process improvement and technology automation is a nice-to-have
