About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage, develop, and support the company’s Policies and Procedures framework
  • Ensure standardized and accurate document control and availability of current policies and procedures through SharePoint
  • Use related systems and databases to expedite Policies and Procedures framework work
  • Aid department-sponsored events for related programs
  • Assist leadership with identifying, reviewing, updating, and implementing processes and tools
  • Support internal and external reporting and compliance activities
  • Identify and implement new and revised procedures in response to NERC standards and RTO process changes
  • Manage the lifecycle of policies, procedures, standards, and operational documentation, including development, review, approval, publication, stakeholder communication, and periodic review
  • Develop, implement, and present stakeholder training
  • Serve as system administrator and subject matter expert for SharePoint, compliance databases, learning management systems, forms, reporting tools, and related applications
  • Assist with dashboards, reports, metrics, and data analytics for Operations programs
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvements, workflow enhancements, and supporting tools
  • Support program surveys, internal outreach activities, trainings, and sponsored events
  • Investigate and maintain knowledge of utility and department needs and functions
  • Review control room compliance-related reports for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform audit preparation, including internal controls, audit readiness, RSAW narratives, and compliance evidence gathering
  • Oversee annual review of compliance-related policies and procedures
  • Provide technical writing expertise for organizational policies, procedures, standards, and operational documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Instructional Design, Arts and Sciences, or relevant equivalent experience and/or education required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with a document control system and maintaining company policies and procedures from development through implementation preferred
  • Experience supporting NERC compliance programs, regulatory audits, or utility operations preferred
  • Experience with instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles preferred
  • Experience with document management and workflow systems preferred
  • Experience developing training materials, technical documentation, and compliance evidence packages preferred
  • Ability to analyze data and produce reports, metrics, and dashboards
  • Experience in SharePoint preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; technical writing experience preferred
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools
  • Exceptional organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; ITC does not sponsor employment visas such as H-1B or TN visas
