Senior Business Developer – IT Services, IT Consulting

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Consultaas’s revenue by leveraging an existing client portfolio and, above all, an active professional network (CIOs, CTOs, IT managers, procurement)
- Identify and sign new enterprise / mid-market clients
- Utilize and activate an existing address book
- Identify needs for: technical support or fixed-price DevOps engagements, web/app/software development, engineering (network, systems, IT), data (engineer, analyst), project management, ... IT delivery (onshore/offshore)
- Qualify client needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Negotiate commercial terms (daily rate, margin, contracts)
- Monitor ongoing engagements and grow accounts (upsell)
- Collaborate with internal teams to staff projects quickly
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years in an IT services company or consulting firm
- Active, immediately usable network of contacts (key requirement)
- Proven track record in closing deals
- Good understanding of IT environments (projects, infrastructure, data, etc.)
- Autonomous, results-driven, with a strong business mindset
