About the role
- Create and scale end-to-end merchandise planning processes across the Americas
- Manage bottoms-up product level plans and top-down merchandise financial plan (MFP)
- Collaborate on capacity planning and optimize inventory
- Drive in-season executions of the seasonal plans
- Lead and mentor a global team of merchandise planning professionals
- Adapt global strategies to meet unique needs of individual markets
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Merchandise Planning, Buying, or Financial Planning
- At least 3 years in a leadership position working with Global teams
- High degree of emotional intelligence & communication skills
- Strategic vision
- Strong Analytical skills with expertise in demand forecasting, inventory management, and financial modeling
- Consumer insight and empathy
- Proven success in driving revenue and profitability growth in a global, multi-channel retail environment
- Strong understanding of regional differences in retail and consumer behavior
