About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advise software engineers on best practices and strategies for managing infrastructure
Design and implement solutions to enhance reliability, scalability, and observability across AWS infrastructure
Evaluate and improve existing systems and infrastructure delivery processes
Set up, maintain, and scale cross-account AWS environments
Ensure security and compliance across AWS environments
Improve continuous integration and continuous delivery workflows
Automate critical infrastructure updates and routine processes
Collaborate with software engineers, platform teams, and security experts
Shape and scale the backbone of Constructor’s distributed platform engineering infrastructure

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering, focused on cloud infrastructure
Deep experience in AWS infrastructure management
Experience with CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform
Proficiency with monitoring and observability systems such as Prometheus, ElasticSearch, VictoriaMetrics, or similar tools
Focus on ensuring high availability and performance
Experience designing, building, and maintaining reliable cloud infrastructure
Experience automating and optimizing infrastructure at scale
Ability to advise software engineers on infrastructure best practices
Experience with cross-account AWS environment management
Experience improving CI/CD pipelines
Eligibility to work as an independent contractor in the current country of residence
