About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Carry out a medium-sized project from the internal customer's request through to final acceptance, adhering to industry best practices
  • Lead and/or execute a complete electrotechnical/automation work package within a large project under the delegation of a Project Manager
  • Manage organizational aspects (project schedule, team coordination, monitoring project progress)
  • Manage financial aspects (prepare the overall budget, negotiate with Purchasing, monitor costs)
  • Organize and oversee the health and safety of work within your scope
  • Deliver assigned projects in compliance with regulations and internal procedures

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in electrotechnics/automation or a two- or three-year technical diploma (Bac+2/3) with significant experience in project management, new-build works, or maintenance
  • General knowledge in areas outside your core discipline (mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics)
  • Knowledge of applicable standards, regulations, decrees and procedures for your field, as well as site safety organization
  • Solid fundamentals in Schneider and Siemens automation systems, variable-speed drives and networking
  • Confident use of planning and project control tools and problem-solving methods
  • Rigour, strong organizational skills and autonomy
  • Ability to take multiple parameters into account simultaneously in analyses and decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills, effective stress management, pragmatism and a proactive attitude
  • English proficiency at B2 level, and good command of IT tools (MS Project, Word, Excel)
  • Category B driving licence and personal vehicle required to access the site
