About the role
- Define the business case and specify the requirements
- Identify the key elements of the business case
- Present and obtain approval from the steering committee
- Exhaustively identify possible alternatives
- Provide the rationale and decision criteria to select the alternative that delivers the best value for the company
- Identify the deliverables and resources required to carry out the studies
- Carry out detailed studies of the selected solution (in the form of a Definitive Preliminary Design - APD)
- Define the project team organization and identify resources
- Develop the Project Management Plan and perform risk analysis
- Present and obtain approval from the steering committee and/or the executive committee to secure authorization to begin project execution
- Commission the production equipment and close out the project
- Perform load tests and performance tests
- Resolve punch-list items and support the project owner during ramp-up and equipment qualification
- Close out the project
Requirements
- Degree from an engineering school or a Master's (Bac+5) – generalist or specialized in electrical/automation, mechatronics, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or another discipline related to the management of industrial investment projects (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in industry in project management or technical studies, during which you had budgetary and managerial responsibilities
- Strong multidisciplinary background
- Good interpersonal skills and natural leadership
- Proficiency in English
- German is a plus
- Valid driving license and access to a personal vehicle are required
