About the role
- Apply the principles of Mechanical Engineering, physics and materials science for design, analysis, manufacturing, and maintenance of manufacturing systems
- Provide direction to project, process and maintenance of production equipment
- Supports emergency troubleshooting, repairs, and corrections to facility and the facility’s equipment
- Improves the level of preventive maintenance and equipment reliability
- Assist in training of other team members on mechanical standards and processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering
- Some knowledge of materials (steel, concrete, asphalt, etc.) as it pertains to facilities and equipment maintenance
- Solid understanding and experience with AutoCAD 2013 or later version
- Proficient with Microsoft Office software e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
