About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions
  • Own day-to-day employee relations activities, including issue intake, documentation, investigations, corrective action, and follow-up
  • Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employment status updates
  • Ensure accurate, timely maintenance of employee records and documentation within the HRIS
  • Support time and attendance issues, leave administration, and coordination with benefits or disability vendors
  • Ensure site-level compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, safety requirements, and training obligations
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Managers to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and consistently
  • Champion site engagement and culture initiatives, including talent & development programming, recognition efforts, and engagement survey participation and follow-up.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a site-based or field HR role
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Strong employee relations and issue-resolution skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a matrixed HR team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience required (Workday preferred).
