About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment-related questions
- Own day-to-day employee relations activities, including issue intake, documentation, investigations, corrective action, and follow-up
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and employment status updates
- Ensure accurate, timely maintenance of employee records and documentation within the HRIS
- Support time and attendance issues, leave administration, and coordination with benefits or disability vendors
- Ensure site-level compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, safety requirements, and training obligations
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition and HR Managers to ensure staffing needs are met efficiently and consistently
- Champion site engagement and culture initiatives, including talent & development programming, recognition efforts, and engagement survey participation and follow-up.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a site-based or field HR role
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong employee relations and issue-resolution skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a matrixed HR team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience required (Workday preferred).
