About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the data center, mission-critical, industrial cooling, and power generation markets.
- Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions to secure profitable business opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from opportunity identification through project award and implementation within the perspective territory.
- Primary point of contact for assigned customers and strategic accounts.
- Develop customer-specific growth plans and identify opportunities for account expansion.
- Present technical and commercial solutions to customers, consultants, and executive stakeholders while providing market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback to support business growth and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with engineering, application engineering, proposal, and operations teams to develop customer solutions. Need a good understanding and solid understanding of systems solutions for cooling in the DC and power markets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline preferred.
- 5–7 years of successful sales or business development experience within the Data Center, Power Generation, mission-critical infrastructure, HVAC, thermal management, or industrial equipment industries.
- Proven experience developing new business and securing large project opportunities.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing complex sales cycles.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, cooling technologies, or related engineering principles.
- Experience working with data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, power generation, or industrial cooling applications.
- Established network within the hyperscale, colocation, engineering consulting, mission-critical, or power generation markets, with a strong understanding of the industry's decision-making process, key business drivers, and the ability to negotiate complex commercial opportunities.
- Existing network within the hyperscale, colocation, engineering consulting, or mission-critical industries.
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects and strategic accounts.
- Familiarity with data center cooling technologies and emerging market trends.
- Candidate must show proof of US citizenship/visa/alien registration. No sponsorship will be offered for this role.
