About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advising and supporting clients in Business Intelligence, corporate planning and group consolidation
Analyzing business requirements together with Finance, Controlling and Group Accounting
Developing concepts and solution architectures based on IBM Planning Analytics TM1
Translating business requirements into technical solutions and system designs
Modeling and implementing OLAP solutions, reports, dashboards and planning systems
Developing and optimizing data integrations from ERP, financial and upstream systems
Managing client projects from concept through to go-live
Conducting workshops, end-user training and client presentations
Providing long-term support and continuous enhancement of existing client solutions
Supporting presales activities, solution concepts and client presentations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Finance, Controlling or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, financial planning and group consolidation
Solid knowledge of budgeting, forecasting and reporting and controlling processes
Practical experience in analyzing and optimizing finance and controlling processes
Strong communication skills and a confident manner when dealing with clients and business units
Analytical and structured working style with a high degree of personal responsibility
Interest in data-driven solutions and an understanding of BI and planning systems
Fluent German language skills
Occasional willingness to travel for client meetings and workshops, approximately once a month
Experience with IBM Planning Analytics TM1 is an advantage
