About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Central technical contact for demanding customers in high-tech, future-oriented industries
Evaluate new and complex customer inquiries for technical feasibility and economic viability
Provide technical support for products from the design and concept phase through to production readiness
Develop economically and technically optimal manufacturing strategies, including make-or-buy decisions
Manage technical coordination between Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality and Research & Development
Take final technical responsibility for complex products and assemblies
Coordinate internal and external technical interfaces to ensure well-founded decision-making

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed education in Mechanical Engineering, e.g., HTL, FH or TU
Several years of professional experience in design engineering, product development or special machinery/plant engineering
Practical experience in design, manufacturing or joining technologies
Solid understanding of tolerances and technical feasibility
Experience in project management or technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams
Very good CAD skills
Experience with PDM, PLM or ERP systems
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style
Strong logical reasoning skills
High degree of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality and confident presence as a technical interface
Business-fluent German and English skills
Willingness to work in Tyrol approximately 80% of the time
