About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Central technical contact for demanding customers in high‑tech, future-oriented industries
Evaluate new and complex customer inquiries for technical feasibility and economic viability
Provide technical support from the concept and design phase through to production readiness
Develop manufacturing strategies that are optimal both technically and economically, including make-or-buy decisions
Coordinate technical alignment between Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Research and Development
Assume final technical responsibility for complex products and assemblies
Coordinate internal and external technical interfaces to ensure well-founded decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed qualification in Mechanical Engineering (e.g., HTL, University of Applied Sciences, or Technical University)
Several years of professional experience in design engineering, product development, or special machine/plant engineering
Practical experience in design, manufacturing or joining technology, with a solid understanding of tolerances and technical feasibility
Experience in project management or technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams
Strong CAD skills and experience with PDM, PLM or ERP systems
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style with pronounced logical reasoning
High degree of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality and confident presence as a technical interface
Business-fluent German and English
