About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Sales Manager, you play a key role in expanding the Austrian market.
- You work with a high degree of autonomy, actively shape your sales territory and are responsible for the entire sales process from first contact to successful contract signing.
- Business Development: Identifying new business opportunities and continuously expanding the sales territory in Western Austria.
- New customer acquisition: Independently identifying and winning new customers in construction, infrastructure and renewable energy.
- Sales cycle: Responsible for the entire sales process from initial contact and advising to contract closing.
- Lead generation: Researching potential customers via LinkedIn and other online channels, as well as personal visits and active on-site cold calling.
- Customer consulting: Analysing individual requirements and developing tailored security solutions together with customers.
- Project handover: Close collaboration with Project Management and structured handover of won projects after contract signing.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Initial to several years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Fluent German and very good English for collaboration with international management.
- Experience in new customer acquisition and enjoyment of proactively approaching potential customers.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within the sales territory, plus enjoyment of in-person customer meetings.
- Independent, motivated and target-oriented working style.
- Strong communication skills and a confident manner.
- Nice-to-have: Experience or an existing network in construction, infrastructure or renewable energy.
