About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and develop existing key accounts and build long-term partnerships.
  • Identify revenue potential within existing customer relationships and sustainably expand the customer portfolio.
  • Identify new project opportunities with existing customers and support them through to successful completion.
  • Prepare technically and commercially sound quotes and proposals.
  • Serve as the central contact for technical and commercial inquiries on the customer side.
  • Coordinate customer requirements with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Quality.
  • Support the handling of customer complaints together with internal specialist departments.
  • Actively participate in sales planning, forecasts and budget processes.
  • Analyze market movements, identify relevant trends and conduct regular customer meetings in the DACH region.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed education in mechanical engineering, metal technology, mechatronics, nanotechnology or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of experience in technical sales or key account management.
  • Ability to understand, evaluate and translate complex customer requirements into appropriate solution approaches.
  • Experience in pricing and quotation as well as in project-oriented B2B environments.
  • Ideally, experience in semiconductors, coating, medical technology or precision manufacturing.
  • Confident presence and strong negotiation skills in an international customer environment.
  • Business-fluent German and English.
  • Willingness to attend regular customer meetings in the DACH region to a moderate extent.
