Senior Key Account Manager — Responsibility for International Key Accounts

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop existing key accounts and build long-term partnerships.
- Identify revenue potential within existing customer relationships and sustainably expand the customer portfolio.
- Identify new project opportunities with existing customers and support them through to successful completion.
- Prepare technically and commercially sound quotes and proposals.
- Serve as the central contact for technical and commercial inquiries on the customer side.
- Coordinate customer requirements with Engineering, Production, Purchasing and Quality.
- Support the handling of customer complaints together with internal specialist departments.
- Actively participate in sales planning, forecasts and budget processes.
- Analyze market movements, identify relevant trends and conduct regular customer meetings in the DACH region.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed education in mechanical engineering, metal technology, mechatronics, nanotechnology or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in technical sales or key account management.
- Ability to understand, evaluate and translate complex customer requirements into appropriate solution approaches.
- Experience in pricing and quotation as well as in project-oriented B2B environments.
- Ideally, experience in semiconductors, coating, medical technology or precision manufacturing.
- Confident presence and strong negotiation skills in an international customer environment.
- Business-fluent German and English.
- Willingness to attend regular customer meetings in the DACH region to a moderate extent.
