Senior Key Account Manager – Responsibility for International Key Accounts

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and develop existing key accounts and build long-term partnerships.
- Identify revenue potential within existing customer relationships and sustainably expand the customer portfolio.
- Identify new project opportunities with existing customers and support them through to successful completion.
- Calculate and prepare technically and commercially sound proposals.
- Serve as the primary contact for technical and commercial customer inquiries.
- Coordinate customer requirements with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Quality.
- Support the handling of customer complaints together with internal departments.
- Actively contribute to sales planning, forecasts, and budgeting processes.
- Analyze market movements, identify relevant trends, and conduct regular customer meetings in the DACH region.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree or vocational qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Metal Technology, Mechatronics, Nanotechnology, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience in technical sales or Key Account Management.
- Ability to understand and assess complex customer requirements and translate them into appropriate solutions.
- Experience in proposal costing and in a project-oriented B2B environment.
- Ideally, experience in semiconductors, coating, medical technology, or precision manufacturing.
- Confident demeanor and strong negotiation skills in an international customer environment.
- Business-fluent German and English.
- Willingness to attend regular customer meetings in the DACH region to a moderate extent.
