About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Central technical contact for demanding customers in high‑tech, future-oriented industries.
Evaluate new and complex customer inquiries regarding technical feasibility and economic viability.
Provide technical support from design and concept phases through to series production readiness.
Develop economically and technically optimal manufacturing strategies, including make-or-buy decisions.
Coordinate technical alignment between Sales, Production, Purchasing, Quality, Research and Development.
Assume final technical responsibility for complex products and assemblies.
Coordinate internal and external technical interfaces to ensure well-founded decisions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed education in Mechanical Engineering, e.g., HTL, FH or TU (technical college/university).
Several years of professional experience in design engineering, product development or special machine/plant engineering.
Practical experience in design, manufacturing or joining technologies with a solid understanding of tolerances and technical feasibility.
Experience in project management or technical leadership of interdisciplinary teams.
Strong CAD skills and experience with PDM, PLM or ERP systems.
Structured, analytical and solution-oriented working style with pronounced logical thinking ability.
High degree of personal responsibility, hands-on mentality and confident presence as a technical interface.
Fluent German and English at a business/negotiation level.
