About the role

  • Handle bugs and minor enhancements (problem/requirement analysis);
  • Maintain legacy Java applications;
  • Work on Python applications;
  • Address integrated application issues (integration problems);
  • Understand the problem/requirement together with the requester;
  • Develop new applications (project analysis);
  • Support identification of development workstreams (internal team and third parties);
  • Estimate the effort required for each workstream to develop the solution;
  • Update the task with the analysis findings;
  • Develop new applications (implementation of new solutions);
  • Request and support creation of environments for the new application (branches, Docker, deployment pipeline);
  • Perform integrated tests;
  • Lead and ensure deployment to staging/homologation;
  • Lead and ensure deployment to production;
  • Create/Update the application's technical documentation;
  • Develop new applications (deployment and project closure);
  • Prepare and attach the production deployment script to the Jira task;
  • Update task time logs/hours;
  • Close project tasks;
  • Monitor and support during the application's warranty/support period.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 4 to 6 years of experience;
  • Programming logic/fundamentals;
  • Java development;
  • Intermediate PHP development;
  • REST APIs;
  • SOAP;
  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle);
  • SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL;
  • Understanding of SPA (Single Page Application) concepts, such as Angular;
  • Knowledge of the Spring Boot framework;
  • Python;
  • Basic application integration concepts;
  • Basic knowledge of consórcio (consortium) concepts.
