About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide HSE support for an operational production location or wells location
- Conduct audits and participate in incident investigations
- Perform industrial hygiene or environmental monitoring
- Prepare HSE meeting material and participate in emergency response activities
- Implement action plans to drive a positive HSE culture and improve core HSE programs
- Provide field HSE support for designated events and projects
- Demonstrate a commitment to establishing and meeting HSE performance targets
- Evaluate hazards and manage risks associated with operations
- Complete technical documentation and training for personnel
- Develop and implement plans for regulatory compliance
- Lead or participate in incident investigations and field audits
- Participate in emergency planning and response activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or other related technical field, or foreign equivalent
- Current level in college: Sophomore through Graduate Student
- Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2029
- A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks of availability for internship
- A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
