About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Working in partnership with operations management
Creating maximum value for the company by procuring and handling goods and services
Participating in site wide internship activities
Performing market analysis, sourcing, and contracting
Conducting analysis and preparing dashboards for understanding supplier, category, and contract spend
Working with suppliers and internal partners for improved purchasing processes
Performing contract analytics for contract management activities
Identifying key cost drivers for a given spend category
Evaluating performance and opportunities for improving material management and logistics

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Energy Management, Energy Commerce, Finance, Industrial Distribution, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Current level in college: Junior, Senior, or Graduate Student
Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2028
A minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks availability for internship
A minimum cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Previous internships or co-ops in an energy related field
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Awareness of upstream oil and gas operational supply chains
Ability to perform independent research in an assigned topic area
Flexibility to fulfill different roles within Supply Chain
Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and analytic tools
Ability to build effective solutions based on available information
Ability to build positive relationships based on trust and seek collaboration across organizational boundaries
