About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • As a Manager, you’ll bring value to our clients by delivering expert guidance, driving operational improvements, and supporting complex accounting scenarios
  • Provide hands-on accounting support, stepping into critical roles such as: Controller (Interim), Accounting Manager (Interim), Financial Analyst/Finance Manager (Interim), or Internal Audit Manager (Interim)
  • Oversee and refine financial close processes, including month-end and year-end procedures, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Build and lead a high-performing team by coaching, mentoring, and fostering a collaborative, growth-focused environment
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership and stakeholder groups
  • Lead general ledger management and oversee consolidations, streamlining workflows to optimize efficiency
  • Support external reporting, including 10-Q and 10-K preparation
  • Develop and manage financial planning initiatives, including budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analyses
  • Lead audit engagements, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required, while a Masters degree preferred
  • A CPA license, or equivalent certification, is highly valued
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally a mix of public accounting (Big Four or Next Ten) and industry experience
  • At least 2+ years leading teams and managing complex projects
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including team collaboration and client-facing discussions
  • Proven ability to identify challenges, implement solutions, and deliver with precision
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, able to balance multiple priorities
  • Takes ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision, while proactively communicating status updates and anticipating team and client needs
  • Advanced abilities in Microsoft Excel
  • Expertise with ERP systems, especially NetSuite, is preferred
  • Familiarity with supplemental tools like FloQast, Blackline, Workiva, and Carta is a bonus.
