About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary Workday Adaptive Planning administrator and internal subject matter expert
  • Maintain and enhance Adaptive Planning model architecture, including dimensions, levels, attributes, versions, sheets, formulas, and calculated accounts
  • Manage system security, user access, permissions, and license administration
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations and data loads between Adaptive Planning and source systems
  • Administer budget, forecast, and actual version management, rollovers, planning calendars, and period locks
  • Identify and implement AI-, automation-, and emerging-technology-enabled improvements for planning, forecasting, reporting, and operational efficiency
  • Design, test, and deploy system enhancements and model changes using change management and testing procedures
  • Perform audits, reconciliations, and validation activities to ensure data integrity
  • Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to budget owners, business partners, and FP&A users
  • Translate business requirements into scalable planning and reporting solutions with FP&A leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and long-term financial planning initiatives
  • Evaluate new Workday Adaptive Planning functionality and recommend improvements
  • Develop and maintain management reporting packages, dashboards, scorecards, and OfficeConnect reports
  • Research, analyze, and document findings, providing recommendations to management
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities, risks, and trends
  • Participate in special projects and other assigned duties

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning administration, model design, and reporting capabilities
  • Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Ability to manage projects and deliver results independently with moderate supervision
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
  • Experience with OfficeConnect reporting and dashboard development
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, preferably NetSuite or similar enterprise platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to translate business needs into system and process solutions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions
  • Knowledge of AI, automation, and business intelligence tools and their application within FP&A, reporting, and analytics environments
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of Workday Adaptive Planning administration and model-building experience
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning reporting tools and OfficeConnect
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes
  • Workday Adaptive Planning Certification preferred
