About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
Oversee workflow processes related to patient clinical engagement, medication therapy management, prior authorization reviews, and other non-dispensing functions
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational, clinical, and client-related issues
Manage staffing, scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation for an assigned pharmacy team
Monitor, analyze and report on operational performance metrics
Partner collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS Pharm or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
3+ years of experience as a staff pharmacist in healthcare operations or specialty pharmacy setting preferred
Proven leadership and team-building skills
Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and healthcare regulations
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Familiarity with pharmacy management systems or clinical review platforms
Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare compliance standards
