About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
  • Oversee workflow processes related to patient clinical engagement, medication therapy management, prior authorization reviews, and other non-dispensing functions
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for complex operational, clinical, and client-related issues
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation for an assigned pharmacy team
  • Monitor, analyze and report on operational performance metrics
  • Partner collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BS Pharm or PharmD degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
  • Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • 3+ years of experience as a staff pharmacist in healthcare operations or specialty pharmacy setting preferred
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong understanding of pharmacy workflows and healthcare regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with pharmacy management systems or clinical review platforms
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare compliance standards
