About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, data enter prescription information in the pharmacy management system for prescriptions received by Careform Pharmacy in an accurate and timely manner
Collaborate with team members in the hub to create and maintain efficient workflow to meet schedules and quality requirements
Receive inbound calls from patients or prescribers and assist with information regarding prescription status
Contact healthcare provider offices by phone or fax to obtain missing patient and/or prescriber demographic information when necessary
Support activities such as reviewing inbound faxes for adverse events and entering cases for Entyvio
Follow up with payers on prior authorization or appeals statuses

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be at least 17 years old and have earned a high school diploma or GED
Must be registered with the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy
Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) is preferred
Minimum of six months of recent pharmacy technician work experience required
Experience with call centers and customer service preferred
Knowledge of pharmacy operations and state and federal rules and regulations
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Teams, along with basic computer skills
