About the role

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams on project aspects
  • Interface with executives to define project priorities and keep them updated on project risks and opportunities
  • Set annual performance targets and conduct performance reviews
  • Conduct yearly reviews for accountability of all project activities and financial deliverables
  • Analyze impact of portfolio changes in projects, ensuring effective strategy identification
  • Ensure appropriate project hand-off and closure, conducting final post-mortem sessions
  • Manage the EPMO team and foster career development opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, health, science, marketing, communications, or related discipline, or 14+ years of experience in industry
  • 10+ years of related project management experience, including 5+ years of customer consulting or related experience
  • 3+ years of management experience
  • Experience in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and/or healthcare industry
  • Expert-level knowledge of project and change management methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
  • PMP certification a plus; Six Sigma certification a plus
