About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead mid- to large-sized projects from inception through delivery
Develop project plans and provide technical oversight
Assign tasks, schedule meetings, track progress, manage issues, oversee budgets, and drive results
Manage workstreams as subsets of larger projects when assigned
Facilitate meetings, lead discussions, capture action items and deliverables, and track completion against due dates across SDLC phases
Identify and communicate resource needs
Coordinate activities with cross-functional project members
Present project status to stakeholders, including executive management
Proactively communicate issues and proposed solutions to management
Produce project management reports and follow PMO policies and procedures
Maintain notes and project details in SharePoint
Keep project information current in the project repository
Maintain project documentation for auditor requests
Assist with updating PMO policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong technical project management skills, including organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation
Strong organization skills and ability to document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules, and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines
Broad experience managing projects across B2B web eCommerce, ERP, and CRM applications
Experience with internally developed, SaaS, and third-party integrations
Experience with data center, networking, and cloud infrastructure, including on-premise, native, and hybrid cloud solutions
Experience working with globally distributed, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and cultures
Proficiency with Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Atlassian Jira, or similar project tracking software
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Teams, or similar applications
Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Experience gathering customer business requirements and determining resources needed to meet objectives
Strong change management skills and ability to influence decision makers
Strong understanding of B2B eCommerce solutions, focusing on backend development, hosting, and data analysis
Business acumen and ability to understand the Connection business and company strategies
Ability to understand customers and the competitive landscape driving business strategies
Proven experience working with all organizational levels and developing strong business relationships
Ability to work across eCommerce, Finance, Sales, Product Management, and Distribution Centers
Ability to solve problems with limited detail and standardization
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong conceptual, analytical, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States
